Nice Shuffle Beat - Mac Wiseman - Emmons Too?

Post by Greg Cutshaw »

Hear's a nice clean and simple tune with Mac Wiseman doing some western swing. Nice steel by Buddy or maybe his clone?

Here's another Mac video with George Hamilton IV. Who is the steeler on this one? I should know (I think) but I don't.

WOW!! I believe that you are correct. There are some other videos on YouTube from that era that name him. I don't think that I would have ever figured it out. Sorry Russ.....looking forward to seeing and hearing you at TSGA next month.

That's not Russ in the last clip. It is Bob Lucier from up Canada way. I believe that to be a clip from the Tommy Hunter Show that once aired on the now defunct TNN.

Tommy's got it right. That was indeed Bob Lucier. He did play steel for the Tommy Hunter Show but I think this was a clip from George Hamilton's show that George did for awhile in Canada.

I appreciate the thank you Ben. That's the only time I've ever get my name in the same sentence as the great Tommy White!
