I am learning that a bass player can make or break you. Thanks to Max King for playing bass for me. Now I know why Mike McGee sounds so good, he has Max King playing bass. Mike, I always wondered why you played so good, now I know. This was one of the best line up of players I have seen on a show in a long time. Yes, it got very loud at times, but the playing was out of this world. I brough my BIG GUN to the show, the BLACK 1971 push pull. Several reconized Jack Kandora's old push pull. I hope I played something someone liked.

Keith, you are right, a good bass player can certainly help a lot and I for sure had a great one playing my set with me. Mike McGee played flawless bass with me. Mike, I already thanked you and the guys in the band but thanks again! It was a pleasure playing with you guys. Absolute comfort!!

Jerry, you played better than ever. I am one of your biggest fans. I especially liked your choice of amplification- A little Fender Deluxe--with a VERY BIG SOUND. Many of the tunes you played were tunes I have never heard you or anyone play. As far as I am concerned you are as good as it gets on pedal steel guitar. Just my opinion. Chad, it was my pleasure to meet you. I know you are a big fan of the steel guitar. Hope to see you again down the road.
