Hi Mark - Look forward to seeing you in 10 days!
Howard and I decided it would be best to play our sets at 03:00 AM, while everyone is sleeping...
Rick, here's some more info. Hope you can make it:

DAMN! I so regret not being able to attend and participate, I was really looking forward to this year's show and doing my first set in the non-pedal room. But I will be there in my thoughts.
Jeff, the lineup looks fantastic. I'm sure the two days will have Rick's spirit overflowing.

My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Thursday Night Acoustic Seminar
Acoustic lovers, this is not one to miss!!
For those attending the convention, we are proud to offer a seminar on Thursday evening!
Kevin said I could call it, "D tuning Weiss/6 String Lap Steel for Dummies"!
If you haven't heard Kevin Brown's new CD, then click here: http://kevinbrown1.bandcamp.com/album/home-and-dry
Now here's a chance to see how Kevin explores the wonderful world of D major and its delightful 'satellite' tunings. Seminar to include, D major, D minor, D sharp major 7th, D6th, and some tweaks of his own. It's a journey from classic country to Mississippi Blues, Texas Swing to Latin themes; All via Oahu, and the Gambia...with a little bit of Celtic thrown in for good measure!
The seminar will take place sometime on Thursday evening after dinner. The time is TBA. Kevin is providing this for us on a donation basis (rather than selling tickets). We'll have a tip jar there for him, so please accommodate him in person at the seminar.
This will be more of an informal atmosphere. No tab, or charts. Kevin will sit around a semi circle so all can see, giving the audience a chance to ask questions and participate.
How cool!!!!
7 days to go! Pass the word along!!

There's been some schedule changes, so I've updated the first post.
Steve, we'll miss you buddy, but we know you'll be with us in spirit.
Alan, hope to see you down the road sometime. Someone should get a non-pedal show going across the pond.(hint hint).
A big thank you to Neil and Brad for their generous donations. In fact, Brad made his donation in the memory of Steinar Gregertsen.
I'm sure Steinar and Rick are jamming in steel guitar heaven right about now, and will be watching over us next weekend.
