I dont have anything to do with this sale but in my opinion, this guitar, for about the same price as a used carter starter is LEAGUES above the carter starter.

Someone better jump!

Caleb, I'm a newbie here (this is my first post). I've been visiting the forum for months now in hopes of beginning my long-time goal of playing the pedal steel. Been trying to figure out a good starter or step above a starter. This Wilcox is definitely on the list I've been compiling as I've been researching all the brands out there.

I'm very interested but am wondering if you have a case I could pay for as well. Also, what type of pickups does it have?

Thanks for your time. I'm glad to be a member here and I know I have a lot of learning to do!

Yes, it has a case. Pick ups I think are factory.I will get back to you on that. I would tell you but its with a friend he is doing a recording with it. I will get the info this evening. This is the guitar Allen Rudd had for sale. Somewhere around page 7 or 8. I'm trying to save up for a Mullins someday.

Caleb I'll take the guitar for sure if no one ahead of me commits to buy.
Let me kbnow where to send the funds if it is still available.

Thanks.

Really nice looking guitar but since I have had no reply and others are ahead of me I have decided I do not wish to proceed and withdraw my offer to buy as the guitar is likely spoken for ahead of me as is sometimes the case.

I did a little work on this guitar to get it back to the Emmons setup. I think it is one of the first guitars that Chet Wilcox built. This guitar is way, way better than any student models I have played...well worth this price. If I had the extra cash, I'd probably buy it myself. Pickup is a George L E66.

I think the deal fell through on this guitar. I think that is why it is has been unlocked and is back on.
