I have had some response to a previous thread for this get together. This event will take place in my music store at 153 North Street, Walton, NY 13856, from 1:00
to 5:00 PM Sunday afternoon this week. I have had three or four people say for sure they are coming. I'd like to know if there is anyone else coming, to know how to set up and plan for this event.

Respond here or e-mail me if you are planning to attend. We will play, talk, check out each other's gear, and and a great time. Hope some additional players are planning to attend. I'll provide coffee, soda, and donuts!

I had a call today from a player in the Rochester area who is planning on attending. We have room for
a few more! Walton Music is in Walton, NY, south of Oneonta, east of Binghamton. We are located on routes 10 and 206. Address is 153 North Street, Walton, NY 13856. Phone 607 865-5670 for additional information. I am in my shop Saturday morning from 9 to 1:00. If I am teaching, leave me a message and I'll call you back before leaving for the day. See you THIS SUNDAY, 1 to 5:00.

I just got home from Larry's jam at Walton Music and have to say, that, my wife Darlene and I had a wonderful time. Larry was very gratious to host this event. Thanks also go to Bob Carlucci, who, I think, got the ball rolling for this event. Bob played his customized Fender 800 beatifully. It sounded great with all the changes he has on it. Everybody played really well with a playing format that was laid back, but, professional. I'm sorry I can't remember all the names of the players, but, I was glad to meet each and every one of them. It was a fine time.
Thanks, Larry!

Let me extend my sincere thanks to all who attended the Walton Steel Jam today. This was a great event.
Playing steel were John De Maille, Chris McGauley,
Bob Carlucci, Bob Bird, and myself.

Chris traveled all the way from Rochester, NY, a 4 hour drive to be here. He plays a Sierra 14 string Universal and does a great job!

Darlene De Maille played guitar, bass, and sang several tunes, doing a great job.

Bob Carlucci brough in his vintage, Fender 800, a cable operated guitar which has been updated with four knee levers, and several pedals. Bob can really play this thing, and gets a great, vintage
sound out of it. I should also mention the He is a master of the Stratocaster as well, and even played bass on several tunes.

Toward the end of the event, Bob Carlucci and John took turns on Orange Blosson Special and both did a great job... Wow, some great playing.

We had a few spectators too. Tomorrow, I'll try to get some pictures up. Thanks again to all who attended and played.
