Steel guitars Builders

Post by Tom Alsteen »

Hello. New poster here. 30 plus years ago I was taking lessons on a Rickenbacher double neck 8 string console. Went thru a divorce, sold the guitar for about $400, hated to, but you sometimes have to do things you really don't want to do. Long story short, I'm just now getting back into playing. Bought an inexpencive 6 string Rogue off the internet and have started to take on-line lessons to get back into playing. It's fun, but the Rogue sure isn't a Rickenbacker.

I've also been reading on the Steel Guitar Builders website and think I'd like to build a steel guitar. Here's my dilemma; For the life of me, I can't seem to answer the questions at the last of the register page. I know I put the correct answer in, but still get a rejection. One of the administraters, Larry, posted that if anyone was having problems getting registered, to send him an e-mail. However, there is no e-mail address, or way to obtain one for him. He also said to send him a PM from this website. Again, with only is first name, quite impossible to do.

So, if anyone might know how to contact Larry, please let me know. PM or e-mail. I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks, and look forward using this site.

There's a place called "steel guitar builder" I haven't been on there in along time, but think it still exists. You might try a search.....

Thanks for the PM. I finally made it past the questions and received a computer generated response with log in name and pass word. Only trouble, it has tobe approved by an admin. Guess I just wait.

Thanks for the help.
