Steel Guitar Show in Branson, Feb.25, 2012
Do you ever wonder about things?? Like people, and events?? Well, I'm wondering about the Show coming up this weekend in Branson. I wonder who's coming and I want everybody to get there safe and sound! If I said I wonder about people having car trouble and accidents, you probably would say, "Don't worry about it"! So I'll not worry, just wonder!! I wonder if the guest steel players that Terry has invited will honor their confirmation and be there. I wonder if all the good cooks will bring their best recipes that they won the prize with at the county fair. No,no, I'm not worrying, just wondering. Those cooks have never let us down yet! I wonder if all the members have renewed their membership, if not, they can do it at the show. Sometimes, my wife says, "See it didn't happen like you worried about"! I tell her, "See 'worrying' works pretty good then, doesn't it?" It's still winter time and old man winter can show himself to be quite a kill-joy. I heard it's supposed to be in the 50's, but who knows. The weather has really embarrassed a lot of weathermen by not doing what they forecast. Just in case you're wondering about this February show, it' going to be a great steel guitar show and it's this Saturday, Feb.25, from 10 a.m. 'til 6 p.m. at the Community Center in Branson, MO. The admission is only $10 for ALL DAY! Then the next day, Sunday, there will be a JAM for all steel players from 12 to 5 p.m. Come spend the weekend with us and have a lot of fun, food, and fellowship!
