Great Ozark Steel Guitar Show - February 25!!! Branson, MO
That word 'great' means a lot of different things to a lot of different people! Now, a meal that is 'great' depends on what kind of food you're having. Some people would like a meal of sauerkraut and weiners, or cauliflower and broccoli. Now to me, that's not a 'great' meal. A great meal to me is
fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and corn, and a hot steaming roll! Now, a GREAT steel guitar show to some is a line-up of their favorite pickers. I tend to be in that group, but I also love to hear Mr. Beginner and several 'wanna be's' like me! Some people say it's a great show if a lot of people are there sitting in the bleachers. I love a great number of people, too! But I just love to sit close to my stereo and listen to the steel guitar being played. If it's country music being played, and there's no steel guitar, I'm not listening. When you come to our steel guitar shows you may not see a huge crowd, but you'll hear fantastic steel playing with an exceptionally good band to ice the cake. The admission fee for the February 25 show is a measley $10. You'll pay more than that for someone's CD. But think of what $10 will buy you at the Ozark Steel Guitar Show in Branson, February 25. Th music will start around 10:00 Saturday morning and go to around 6 p.m. There will be a noon time break, I might add a free meal, oh yes, there will be a donation bucket that you can give to help with the expenses of the meal. You can put in a penny or $100 bill. I think you'll drive away from the show saying, "That was a GREAT show!" Here are the particulars you need to know: Saturday, Feb. 25 is the SHOW. Sunday, Feb 26, is the Jam. Some of the professionals are going to stay over for the jam. Saturday is a Show of professionals invited by Terry Bethel, our president. The Sunday Jam is for anyone who wants to join in and play their steel guitar. This all happens at the Community Center in Branson, MO. February 25 and 26.

Bill, You hit a home run again! Thanks a million for the pictures! Your presence and professional photography is greatly appreciated and informative! Our club is so fortunate to have you and Miss Eva among us. I agree, that food table looks, GREAT!!
Hey, Kenny, So glad you're coming! If you're coming from Springfield to Branson, turn on 248 Exit and get in the Left Lane and go over the bridge and get in the Left turn lane as soon as you can and then turn left at the first street which is Compton. Go down the hill and the Community Center is right there!
Chad,It's good to know there'll be someone there that I'll be able to see eye to eye with!

Player list
The players list is no secret Mr. Hilton, and Ms. Dana Stewert, but as usual when you book the talent in that we have booked for this mini show, you have some that have to miss the show do to circumstances beyond mine and there control. Two of the confirmed players had to cancel so I told them to put the July show on their schedule. One was from Branson the other from Kansas City.
The schedule of players is as follows.
Steve Palousek
Junior Knight
Robbie Springfield
The three players above are from the great state of Texas.
Austin Stewert (Kansas)
Tyler Hall (Alabama)
Dean Holman (Missouri)
Mike McGee (Missouri)
Jerry & Carlene Roller (Arkansas)
Gene & Gayla Crain (Oklahoma)
Steve Melchi with special guest Jeannie Kendall.
Mr Keith Hilton ,
would you play at the Mini Show. You seem to have some fans that want you to play. Oh by the way I want you to play also. So guess who else is a fan????
Talked to Keith he is on for the 25th
Miss Jean Devore will be there to sing.
Dwayne Bowman One of the best male singers in the music scene.
I got one more confirmed.
I still haven't heard from a couple of people I have invited but as soon as I do, I'll be back on here to post it.
