I'm re-forming a little combo in Tujunga, California,
and we're looking for a bass player (stand-up would be good, too)
Into playing: Classic Country / Western Swing / Classic Rock / with a little Surf & Hawaiian in the mix!
Stricktly a casual affair, with maybe some club / party work down the road.
If interested, please contact me (Rick) @ 818-951-1051
Thanks!

After dealing with strangers, trying to find a replacement bassist, I decided to start training an old friend to play bass. He's actually doing real well!
Came across some real loons!
I figure, if your in our age group, (50+) and you have to depend on gig money to pay your bills.... then your pretty desperate!
One guy claimed his profession as "Handyman". He offered to teach us the "proper" way to rehearse... if we paid him! He never even heard us play!
Another guy offered his bassist wife to us, if we paid her gas money!
I guess that's one way to get her out of the house!
