I had a friend who ordered one not too long ago. The promise date was about 8 months.

Richard, I'm not sure about how long it took you but I ordered my Zoom at the 2000 convention in St. Louis and received it in May of 2001. I also called Bruce about 6 weeks ago inquiring into another new guitar and the waiting time was about the same. Maybe you have some secret to getting a Zoom produced faster than most but not even John Hughey can get one in that short of a time frame.

My Sierra was a "foster child" for ten years before I adopted it. Image

Don't ask me what it has to do with Zums. It just occured to me. That's all. Image

Keep on pickin'!

You're testing a terrible memory here, but I believe mine was ordered the first of February, 2000 and delivered the first week of July.

Danny - Waiting on something is, and has always been a hard thing for me to do. In one way I waited YEARS for my Zum - I wanted one in '78, and got it in '96! If I were buying a new guitar today, based on owning one, a Zum is EXACTLY what I would buy. If I had to wait a year for it, I would just "swallow hard" and wait. I have NO connection with this or any other builder / company - - I'm just a VERY satisfied customer... Jimmie

As a matter of fact.....there is(as of today), a single on a double frame w/pad 10 & 5 Zum at Steel Guitar Nashville. Black with a 'lightning' Z across the front. Just a couple of years old/new only played in someone's closet or something. Only about a million dollars or zumthing like that......just kidding....call Bobbe for a quote. 615-822-5555 and tell Brandy I think she's a lip smacker! (She'll never know where it came from.....right?)
