Steel Guitar Picks

Post by Myron Reed »

This is an embarressing request, but I cannot find a place to buy Steel Guitar Picks. It seems like a simple thing, but I only find straight picks. Even local Music Stores can't help.

Depending on brand and if you want to do it online Bobbie Seymour sells them his website is steelguitar.net or you could try jaxmusicsupply.com.

Hi Myron:

Definitely give the JF picks a try. They are nicely and consistently pre-bent with a very effective and comfortable blade shape and curve to them. I have used many, many different sets of fingerpicks over the years on several different instruments, and the JFs are what I use and recommend for pedal and lap steel.

Best,
LC

I also like JF finger pics and you can order them directly from Fran Newman.
