thanks so much for all the compliments, having just started on steel, I have found that my tuners will not do the job as well as a Peterson everyone here talks about.

That is GAW-juss!!!

And yep, a Peterson Strobe is super precise. My VS-II has the 'sweetened' E9 and C6 temperment settings, and wow, what a difference it makes in the sound. I understand Peterson has an iPhone app now, too.

Jonathan - I'm in the same boat - two Sho Buds and nowhere to go! My 45 yr of guitar seem to help a little.. focusing on pick blocking - sustain is easy Very Happy
