Check out a recent video, me playing pedal steel with original band based out of Boston, MA, the Blue James Band! (www.bluejamesband.com)
I have been really enjoying trying to use pedal steel in a genre outside of country music. The twin solo is my favorite part
Feedback appreciated. Good and... BAD!
Appreciate the help I got with an earlier post on SGF trying to use speed picking and getting sloppy with the picks- this video is a great example of how I put everyone's advice last month to practice.
Thanks guys.

Very nice, tasteful playing that fits the song well.
This type of music is IMHO the future of the pedal steel guitar.
Keep up the good work.

Wow, thanks everyone!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I posted this-- it means alot to have this much positive input from such an array of players!
Next time we do this tune, I'm hoping the tone on the amp is a little brighter sounding.
The Blue James Band is working on a new album (coming out spring 2012) and I am laying down some pedal steel on at least 2 of the new tracks. I feel like it is exciting to try to get PSG out there to people who don't usually listen for it, or don't know what it is. (When in fact, it is ONE AWESOME INSTRUMENT, that hopefully, they'll never forget)
