I respectfully request admission into the Brotherhood with my newly acquired LDG. It's a first year round front. Michael Yahl's records indicate that it was built on October 29, 1973. Everything except the knee levers looks original. The serial number is 4363. I'd like that to be my ISBB member number also.
Several of the "dings" are reflections. I apologize for the quality of some of the photos.

Too many steels, amps & other stuff, and an open mind. I have tube amp bias.

Brother Jim and Brother Ray...
Welcome to the International Sho-Bud Brotherhood.
That's a beautiful-looking LDG, Jim. Those two-hole-puller & barrel Sho-Buds really are something special...as are your Sho-Bud Pro III, volume pedal and single-channel amp, Jim.
I saw and heard a great clip of Tommy White playing a Sho-Bud with Allison Moorer in the Steel on the Web section this morning. I wonder what mechanism is on that Bud.
Miscellaneous Sho-Bud memory: I remember the radio music playing on the second floor of the Sho-Bud store. At one end, close to the top of the stairs, Harry Jackson had easy-listening music playing as he repaired, adjusted and set-up pedal steels. At the other end, by the big window above lower Broad, AJ Nelson, the chief guitar repairman, liked to listen to country music on WSM. Great music, great guys.
Welcome, Jim & Ray!
