Kermit,
Just the other day I mused silently after listening to Amber's recording of Bill Anderson's song that Connie Smith recorded previously, "HEART I'M ASHAMED OF YOU", and wished that Lloyd Green had made a recording of that song. I never get enough of that good country music. I know that Lloyd could really bring out the best in that song. |

Bill,
I am in full agreement with you.....
Also, on this session was Pig Robbins and Pete Wade. Should be a great CD. Can't wait to hear it.

I am so happy to see that Lloyd is on this project. I love Amber and Randy and am a huge Amber fan as well. Lloyd brings a whole different twist to her sound that I'm looking forward t Pete Wade is my favorite country guitar player and Pig Robbins is my and everyone elses favorite piano player. Good choices Amber, Randy & Justin. _________________ Johnny "Dumplin" Cox

I am looking forward to hearing this.
Lloyd told me about this project a few weeks ago. I believe Amber's band play Little Darlin' as a play in or play out instrumental and he was asked to play it on her album no doubt with other steel work. He said it has been many years since he played it. I love all of Amber's recordings and would love to see her live one day but I am sure this next album will be the tops.
Please keep us all updated as to when this album becomes available. |
