When is the Convention in Dallas? I would like to go but don't know the dates.

My wife and I are will be going again this year.

Last year was our first time there at the Dallas Jamboree and to say it was great, would be an understatement!

Got to meet and talk to a lot of my Steel Pickin' Heros and also went to Pearl's Dance Hall in Fort Worth and caught the Leona Williams Show with Russ Hicks AND Mike Johnson on Steel.

I hope there's another show like that this year. I also got to meet David Hartley from the UK who was there at Pearl's for the "Mike Johnson and Russ Hicks Show" featuring Leona Williams.

If you're flying out of Atlanta to Dallas, American or Delta have the best prices. We flew Air-Tran last year but since they merged with Southwest they no longer go to DFW.

Anyone wanting to come needs to get their reservations made at the Sheraton as quickly as possible. They are very near to being full.
