A Tone Bar Warmer

Post by Alan Brookes »

So many people have those little warming pads to keep their coffee or tea warm. What about one for keeping your tone bar warm.

In cold weather, no matter how you may warm your hands, the moment you pick up your tone bar it's like holding an icicle.

I have found that acrylic bars don't get as cold as steel bars, but they all get cold, and it slows you down somewhat to wear gloves. :(

Now I can't wait to use the line; Is that a bar in your bra, or are you just glad to see me?!

Time to revive this thread as it's getting cold!

Post by Pete Nicholls »

My first winter as a steeler and unbelievable how cold that bar can get!! I have a solution and will be ready to share it with you guys in a few days. I was able to play in my 59 degree music room yesterday morning with a nice warm bar, and it sure made a difference! Now to get some help from my wife to make the prototype.
