Hey everybody it's time again for the Austin steel guitar jam,
We are going to start the New Year with a new format allowing everyone interested to play songs with the band individually in the first set.
Also in addition to the live band we will have Band in a Box available for those wanting to use more complex arrangements for their performance pieces.
Contact me for details on doing specific song arrangements and performances.
As the year progresses we will be having featured artists and lesson segments as permitted by the featured artists.
The round robin style jam will come at the last set.
Just to clarify what I am saying is that you can or should come with a song or two in mind to play with the band by yourself.
I would also like to mention that the equipment swap will be stepped up and promoted more this year involving not just Pedal Steel but other types of musical equipment.
The 3rd Sunday lesson will be discontinued until further notice.
Please support your local steel players and club in any capacity that you can
Thank You
Ken Metcalf

Once again I'll try to be there. I hope we get a good turn-out.
Ken, do you know if the same bass player will be there?

Yes it will be Mike Stowers on drums, Leon Grizzard on guitar, Robin Tewes on bass and Pat Saxon on keys.
Same guys as before.
Very good line up.

Don't forget it is also an equipment swap or sell not just steel guitar stuff...
Whatever you might have to sell bring it on down.
You never know who might need what.
I will have my Black Tele there for sale.
