It was worth it

Saturday John Terry (John Terry Violins, Carthage, Mo) , his wife, and I left my place at 10 AM and drove to Granger, Texas to see the incomparable Bobby Flores and the Bobby Flores Band , then left Granger at midnite and rolled back in to my place at 8:20 AM Sunday. A marathon trip, no question about it, but it was worth it. I was determined to make it home for chuch services, otherwise we would have stayed over. The boys were hot as usual....gorgeous twin fiddles with Bobby and Jim Shattenberg and the fantastic Randy Reinhard on steel....back to back to back four four shuffles. We had a chance to meet the hospitality man himself, owner Bubba Cox and really appreciated his time. They have a great facility and I would encourage anyone within driving distance to do your self a favor and experience The Cotton Club and Steak House in downtown Granger Texas.

Larry you should post a road map. Most people outside of Central Texas would drive through and never know that they have been there. Bubba is a good guy and has great music there almost all of the time. Sort of a long trip for you folks. I drive down there from time to time if I am going to the neighborhood anyway.
