At our Georgia Peach Jam on December 3rd, 2007, the Georgia Steel Guitar Association honored two new Legend Members. Both new Legend Member's list of accomplishments are too long to cover completely, but here is a brief list of their highlites.
Playing radio and television shows throughout the southeast, touring with Tex Ritter and The Louvin Brothers, playing show dates with Ernest Tubb, Bill Anderson Loretta Lynn, Marty Robbins and other top name entertainers, numerous recording sessions and club work, we honor Mr. Garland Nash.
Touring and recording with country music's top entertainers, receiving "Super Picker" awards from the National Acadamy of Arts and Sciences, playing numerous national television shows, and five consecutive Acadamy of Country Music "Band of the Year" awards as a member of TNN's "Nashville Now" band, we honor Mr. Larry Sasser.
