Silverface Deluxe Reverb, THE small gig and recording amp

Late 60`s Fender Deluxe Reverb with about same vintage JBL D120F, orange.
The tone I`ve been chasing with various combos and rack systems is finally here !!
Modded with a passive loop and reverb on both channels. Seymour Duncan delay in the loop, that`s all I need.
The perfect packade for steel and guitar.
Surprisingly loud too...
Get one while they`re still reasonably priced

I would have to agree. I have actually been "getting by" with my 67 Princeton Reverb with different baffle and 12" Eminence, but I see a Deluxe in my future.

Brian, that Princeton together with your future Deluxe will sound fantastic.
I know, I`ve tried mine with a SF Princeton.

I have a couple Super Reverbs and have a Weber Calfornia 15 4 ohm in one. The steel goes into an RV-3 on the normal channel and the 6 string goes into the Vibrato channel. The two channel thing works perfect for me, but 9 times out of 10 it's too much amp. The Deluxe Reverb is the perfect middle ground for the types of gig I do. I have never tried one with a D120 but would love to.

I often use a BF Deluxe w/JBL or a SF Deluxe. As long as I'm mic'd it has plenty of juice. great tone!

Played thru a 70's Deluxe Reverb last night at band practice. Stock fender spkr.Swinging rockabilly blues country music. When it was pushed a bit I liked the edge of distortion that was produced.Started thinking Duane Allman Robert Randolph ? It was a pile of fun.Even added a little bourbon and didn't get fired. Life is good
