just jamming on some freddie king bues. sorry for the cheesy video and audio, but hey its the blues! strings dangling from the keyless tuner. never got around to cutting off the excess..lol

Really! So kinda like playing standard tuned 6 string with a slide?.... or are you getting the pedals in on the action? Great sound and execution there. Would you care to disclose any info on the guitar, electronics etc?

oh yes on the pedals

its a little lite 6 guitar from jim flynn at lonestar steels. i made the body for it and sent the finished body out to him to add all the mechanics. i have had for a few years. just now getting around to messing with it. its got 6 floors and 5 knees. it's a work in progress, but i am liking it for some rock/blues stuff.

havent got it settled yet, but one pull is the G to G#. that gives the 7 chord and one of the knees drops the D to Db. that gives a 9 chord and one of the floors pulls A to B and D to E...big E minor chord and some 5ths for rock and blues stuff.

Actually, you know I never said anything bad about you, but I have said that I fail to see the reason for a 6 string pedal steel guitar, and now I have to take that back. You've proven that it is a viable instrument, and I humbly apologize to everybody who makes or plays one.

I know quite a few blues guitarists. I'm going to forward the link to all of them.

sorry about the sound. i need to work on the video/audio thing. the sound is just from the old rca camera i used so its not all that great.

in as much as how the guitar sounds, i like it a lot even though i have yet to install the back pickup on it. that is a seymour duncan little 59 in the front slot. its moveable so i can change the tone a bit on it.

i guess i will record another track and mix it and post it to give a better representation of the sound.

Mike, thanks for the apology,but I wish at some point you could play one in the e9th and the C-6(8 strings).

They are really a blast, and sooooo much lighter.
