Well I was invited out last night by Mickey to go hear Johnny Cox . What a wonderful time we had visiting , cutting up and sharing some really fine steel guitar music . When Mickey left he took my guitar with him to do a complete MickRefurb on it :) I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to finally be getting this done . My guitar in my opinion is one of the best sounding mullen guitar's to ever leave their factory . it's way over due for a tune up as it has been sitting in those theaters in Branson for over 7 yrs with the fog machines and such .. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried that it's gonna change itfrom what i know it to be but Mickey assure's me I won't believe the end result . I will post some pics and a review of sorts when it is finished ..Mickey Adams is a jewel to the steel guitar family his knowledge and willingness to share it with us all weather it be in a lick lesson on YouTube or a professional refurb or just a good steel guitar related conversation should be comended . Fellers like Mickey are all to few and far between in this world . Thanks again hoss and please take care of my Guitar :)

Al, you are so right about Mickey in every aspect and I should also say that there's a host of other reasons that one might want to converse with him. I bought my Mullen a little over a year ago, and IT, Al, is absolutely the best sounding Mullen out there ! ! ! (I'm not even going to argue with you about this....lol) Mickey has given me some solid advice about things concerning the guitar that I have, and I must say that when taking his advice,I have never been disappointed in the outcome. Thanks Mickey for your friendship and for sharing your knowledge with us. BTW....I hope your holidays are blessed. HAL

Greg , Thanks so much for the kind words ... I do Remember the Skil-saw incident i was livid to say the least :x but the D2F cover kept things pretty safe so no harm no foul :\ ... I never did get anyone to own up to it though.. :? :? . glad to see you guys are doing good with the show see ya soon.

As for the guitar i just got home from Mickeys and to my surprise the guitar didnt need a total rip down after all. he did do a few adjustments and cleaned & lubed her up good and a new set of wires and presto a new Mullen Guitar emerged . I played on it for a bit then he busted out the G2 D-12 well beside the fact that i couldnt make head nor tales of the 12 string thing it sounded and played just like i expected VERY GOOD!!!! Again Mickey Adams is the real thing and i look forward to gettting together with him and swapping some licks and maybe a few more stories in the very near futre . the crew at Mullen guitars should be very proud of the representaion of their Product he brings to the table .. thanks again Mickey.. Oh yea he has some pretty cool static Scale Air Craft too :D

Well, now you all have heard it. Do you mean to tell me that Mickey is a nice guy? I never would of beleived if Mr Miller hadn't said it Mr Miller, his Mullen and good country music is a match made it heaven. Anyone that can sound that good must be telling the truth.
So now we all know that Mickey really is a nice guy and we can be thankful for him.
Thank you for all that you do for us guys on the forum. Mickey. We all appreciate you. Keep up the good work.

I just bought a Mullen G2 and its the best one I have played.
