Another Forumite on a TV Reality Show - Bryan Knox

Post by Darvin Willhoite »

A few weeks ago I saw Wally Moyers flying his helicopter on the "Hog Hunters" show, and then this week I happened to run across a new show called "The Real Deal", and when it showed the auctioneer, I said, "Hey, I know that guy". It was forumite, steel and guitar player, and world champion auctioneer Bryan Knox. I think the show comes on on Sunday nights on the History channel, check it out, this guy can sell some stuff.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, as well as some older MSAs, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Recently added a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored blue Rose, named the "Blue Bird" to the herd. Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic again that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also added a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks.

Thanks for the "shout out" Darvin. It's a blast being on the show and so far the ratings are doing well.

If anyone is interested in seeing an episode online, here is a link..Real Deal

I saw the "Real Deal" tonight. The show indicated that the seller got the full bid price at the auction for a jeep.
I've never been to an auction where the auctioneer did not take a commission on the sale.
Around here it is 30 percent.
Deducting the commission would change the outcome.
