Learning how to play guitar in the l960s, I bought and listened to most of the Beatles recordings, especially the White album. Here is my lap steel/ pedal steel arrangement of one of my favorites, "I Will."

"That is country music just not this country."

unquote Tommy Dodd at a steel show just after he played a Monkey's song SO there you have it the Beatles - country music not just this country.

When I was in High School in THAT garage band we were going to be the next Beatles like most other kid musicians. As you have guessed by now that did not work out the best and that Major League Baseball deal did not either.

Great job Chuck

C-ya soon

Sounds good, Chuck. The Beatles were the soundtrack of my youth too, and hearing their tunes always brings back memories! Cool

Nice, Chuck! I always enjoy your great tone and smooth playing.

I always liked the White Album too...there are some great tunes one usually doesn't hear when Beatle songs are played. Have You seen the Little Piggies playing in the Dirt?! I'm going to have to dig that album out this weekend and listen all over again.

Cool

Thanks, guys. Appreciate the feedback. The Beatles catalog makes great instrumentals for the steel guitar.
