I recently purchased a glenn deacy twang steel guitar at a pawn shop.Does anyone know anything about them?

No,it does not have pedals,but it does have a battery powered mini-amp with distortion if you want to use it.It was made in canada in 1982.THANKS.

I've never heard of that brand of guitar, either regular guitar or steel guitar. Please post some pictures if you can.

I guess it is the only lap steel the man ever made.It is made of maple and is painted red.It has a wide body and a standard size fret marking's.It has a 9 volt battery power supply,humbucker pickup,1 volume control, a pilot light ,and two switches.One for clean-distortion and i don't know what the other switch does.I talked to Walter at Gruhn Guitars and he said it was probably custom made for someone.He thougt it was one of a kind and estimated it was worth at least$750.00 minimum.

From the looks of it in Michael's scans, I can't imagine paying more than $200 for it.

I am open to offers.I don't know how many were made,but,it has a unique sound with the bult in distortion.I have never seen another one.I might put it on ebay
