getting some stocking stuffer requests together and i'd really like to get some Noel Boggs CDs - i have the "best of" i dont usually buy those, but...there isnt much available, so i had no choice.
anyway, love the stuff on there and would appreciate any advice - i do have some of the Bob Wills era stuff on a box set. _________________ '65 Sho-Bud D-10 Permanent • '54 Fender Dual-8 • Clinesmith T-8 • '38 Ric Bakelite • '92 Emmons D-10 Legrande II |

I would recommend Wade Ray's "Things I Might Have Been". Boggs is a sideman, but he's great and so is Ray's voice. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

I agree with Mike, the Wade Ray recordings are tops. The Shuffletown recording is a great one to have, might be hard to find tho.Boggs steps out a bit on there. Some Jimmy Wyble recordings. Also a few era's os Spade Cooley feature Noel. |
