Peavey Session 500
A guy in my band bought a Peavey Session 500 at an estate auction. It is in absolutely MINT condition. Has a removable caster frame on the bottom. Someone has already offered him $2000 for it. I know this is very much in demand item. I am asking opinions from you guys about this amp and what would be a good sell price. I may list is on here for him if there is any interest. We both live in VA about 1 hr from the VA/TN state line.

He did not sell it for 2000.00?Someone has already offered him $2000 for it. I know this is very much in demand item. I am asking opinions from you guys about this amp and what would be a good sell price.
I've seen them as low as 250.00 plus shipping.
400.00 shipped in lower 48 would be a decent asking price.

Mistake!
He has accidentally put in one to many zeros. Surely he meant to say $200.

Session 500 Hernia monster
Jim, all joking aside. There are two of these Session 500s on here for sale right now, and they can't even get $250 a peice for them. I love these amps, and I think they are great amps, but they are not in much demand by any means.

THanks for all the responses. I couldnt believe the $2000 offer. All I know is that it was from someone in Nashville that deals in equipment and said that the Session 500 is a high dollar item that steel players are looking for. Didnt really make sense for me. I have checked other listings for the the same amp and those are priced in the neighborhood that I have heard here. If this fairy tale pans out, I will let you guys know. I have a feeling that the "blowing smoke" may be accurate. We'll see. Thanks again for all the comments.
