So far we've got (in no particular order) David Phillips, Henry L. Brooks & friend (observers), John O'Neill, Bob Snelgrove (possibly), Bobby Lee, Larry Chung, Dave Zirbel, Billy Wilson, Peggy Green, Mike Perlowin, Jeff Hanson, Frank Carter, John McConnell (possibly), Barry Blackwood (possibly), David Wren, Raybob Bowman, and Jim Baron (possibly). That would be 16 players if all came.

Hey Bob Snelgrove, can you please get in touch with Bobby Black again?

Barry Blackwood said:
Bill, the answer to your question is yes, but only if you had charts for all of them ....
I'm afraid that's unlikely. The BIAB tracks are provided by attendees (that will be Bobby Lee this time, it has also included Jim Baron and Richard Sinkler at past jams) but there have been no charts to pass around. We tried once using a video projector to show the BIAB window up on a big screen, but that didn't work, unfortunately. People just play by memory. If someone wants to take up the task of supplying charts, that would be great (see b0b Lee for his song list). Or maybe someone could bring a video projector and we could try overhead projection again.
[This message was edited by Bill Llewellyn on 23 September 2006 at 08:59 AM.]

How about if folks posted here the title of the song they want to bring in to the jam and then we could do our own preparation?

It was a joke, Bill - the old one about how do you get a guitar player to turn down, etc. ...

Bill,

Just a reminder, I sent you an email saying I was planning on attending, as right now I have no gigs scheduled for that day.
There is a possibility of a recording session around that time, but I'm hoping there will be no conflict.

I am also in communication with Tom Bradshaw, and there is a POSSIBILITY that he will come with me and bring a couple of the new Webb amps for people to see and hear.
When we get closer to the date, I will let people know if that actually becomes definite.

Sorry Marc, you told me and I guess I fumbled and lost your email.... Looking at that list I thought I'd probably missed someone. Image I actually lost a couple email responses somehow (even though I always make a point of saving them all).

It would be great if Tom could come.
[This message was edited by Bill Llewellyn on 24 September 2006 at 10:00 AM.]

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be there. I've had a great time when I've attended in the past. Thanks, Bill, for arranging this.

I've read the particulars. All participants must be prepared to carry their gear up one flight of stairs. So it says. That's not in the cards for me. Minus one Bill L.. Thanks.

Peggy,

People help each other out with carrying gear all the time at these gatherings. Please don't let the stairs stop you, I'm sure you can get all the help you need.

(Wow, I'm impressed. Someone is actually reading all the way through all those boring info pages I put up!) Image

I'd like to ask that some of y'all who are attending bring your digital cameras and snap a few shots of the jam. If you later email them to me I can add them to the jam photo page. Thanks!

Charlie is the "Man of Steel." He's single handedly carried the Twin Reverb w/JBLs up a flight of stairs several years in a row! Image

Well thanks Billy, Dave, Herman and Charlie. I will take you up on your offers of help. ++

I'll rethink what setup I'll use. Light as possible...pedabro instead of pedal steel?

I'd love to see and hear a pedalbro in person. That would be a first for me. Image But whatever you do bring, Peggy, we'll get it up (and down) the stairs for you.
