Indeed heartfelt condolences to Mark and the family. Ray could always be counted on for a laugh and a good story. I'll never forget that infectious smile and laugh. He was a regular at many of the area steel jams and was a part of our steel playin' family. He will most cetainly be missed.

Ray Adkins
My deepest sympathies to the Adkins family. I can remember when Ray and Uncle Jay would set up their steels facing eachother in Uncle Jay's basememnt and sit for hours trading rifs. This was long before I ever started playing it myself. Ray will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
