Extension speaker

Hey Guys,

I am considering extension speakers to use with my little Roland Cube 80XL and wonder what opinions you might have. It is a Peavey Sheffield Cab with 1x12 Eminence Red Coat THE WIZARD speaker. The guys is asking $115. Should I consider?

It sounds like a good deal on the speaker. If your amp can safely handle the load of the additional speaker, I'd say go for it. You didn't say, but I assume the extension cab is 8 ohms. Don't know what load you already have on your amp, or what it's capable of. Just be sure you won't be putting a 2 ohm load on your amp and damaging it.

Thanks for the response, Johnny. I am still looking at speakers/cabinets. I wonder why Roland doesn't offer one that matches up with the Cube? Hmmm... Too easy I guess.
