Clamp on

Post by Al Risbeck »

Here's a pic of it clipped on a tone bar the same size as a standard steel guitar leg. Hope this explains it. It just snaps on tightly.

thanks for asking

Al, can you estimate how much weight the music stand can hold before it falls off? I sometimes work with binders of sheet music, not hugely heavy, but do need something that can hold a 3 ring binder, up to 50 sheets of paper, and my clip-on reading light (it's just a few ounces).

Thanks!

Chart stand

Post by Al Risbeck »

Hello John, I have put a full ream of paper on it to test it and it held fine. you are able to rotate the clip so it isn't a straight push off and that would help also.

All you folks with old Fender steels will be glad to know that the thicker legs (1" vs. 3/4") are not an issue. Al has a modified version of his mic/music stands that fits perfectly with Fender legs. What a great product!! Worth every penny! Thanks, Al!

Just wanted to post a short endorsement for Al's Music & Mic Stands. Both great products that work great, and really reduce the footprint of your setup, at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them, and his service, second to none.
