Chuck built a Wright Custom D-10 for me in 1963 when he lived in the Red Bluff area of Nothern CA. When he moved to the Sacramento area, I would drive up and spend some great time with him in the mid-sixties and loved every minute of it. A great analytical mind and craftsman and I loved his friendship. We shared a common love of Curly Chalker. Those were the best of times.
