Dean Holman's Dad passing
Dean I remember you introducing your dad to perform with you on stage at one of our OSGA jams in Branson. The mutual admiration you both shared with each other was touching for me. May the good Lord comfort you in this time of loss.

Hi Dean,
It's been a long time since we've met. I believe that you were still with Tanya, and we met up over at Crawford's shop, while he was building you a new guitar.
I can sympathize with you, and I believe that I know how you feel right now.
I lost my dad in 97', shortly after moving to Nashville. It really took the wind out of my sails, and I sunk deeply into a "couldn't-care-less-about-anything" - 'funk'
It took me several months to figure out my own mental state, but it all boiled down to this: The loss of the only man on the planet, whom, that I really cared about what he thought about me, and wanted to make (him) proud.
After the funeral, several times, over several months, I picked up the phone, and dialed his phone number,...only realizing after the first couple of rings, that he would not be there to answer.
The same thing might happen to you. If it does, you're not going crazy...It's just part of the deal.
I'm truly sorry, Dean.
Blessings, and peace.
Your pal, Dale
