Here are some of the dates for the Hem fall tour.
We just put out a new CD called Funnel Cloud and I think its our best yet. I'm really proud of it. We are touring with a full band and sometimes very full band. The Cd was a piece of cake for me. We recorded everybody live for this one. I played along while they were getting the chamber orchestra parts down learning the tunes and trying out different ideas on different takes. A few days later after they picked the best basics they had me come in for solos and overdubs. They pulled up my tracks and ended up keeping whatever I played already. We just listened to everything and ordered lunch. The west coast dates and a few more have Ollabelle on the bill also. I should be playing with them also.

'Went to see Bob with Hem last night, here in Portland.
They sounded great!
I could hear every instrument clearly, and the singers voice was stellar.
Kudos to Bob and the Band!

I'm looking forward to seeing Hem in either Asheville or Atlanta. Saw them in Asheville several months ago and these folks are great. Bob's steel is a big part of their sound. |

Just curious if Bob saw the article in today's Wall Street Journal, Personal Journal section about the revival of the sewing craft among young people. Title of article: "It's Hip To Hem". [This message was edited by Ted Russell on 01 November 2006 at 05:44 PM.] |
