Got mine the other day in the mail. Looks beautiful.
Q: What did you use for wood screws? Flat head?
Installation looks pretty straightforward, but any other tips for putting it on?
And do standard amp covers (Peavey, off-market) fit over the guard? I need to order a cover for my 112.

Chris,the answers to your qyestions,use the screws
included with guard.
D2f covers fit perfect,for instalation photos,type in
peavey nashville 112 knobguard on computor it willpull up jim eatons site with photo and directions
on instalation,if you want more go to the site on forum,nashville 112 knobguard. |

I have one of these on my Nash 1000 - excellent workmanship and it really dresses up the amp very nicely

Chris,
There was an instruction sheet, wooden alignment guide and a packet of 3 #8-1&1/4" flat head wood screws and a custom "marker pin" packed with your KnobGuard. If you can't find them, let me know and I'll get you taken care of.

(when I picked up my last run of KnobGuards from the machine shop I explained to a non-musician machinest who works there what they were and what they are designed to do, he said "Oh, it's like a roll bar for you amp!)

Do the the NV1000 and NV112 take the same size guard or do you have two sizes?

They are different in size as the NV-1000 is wider than the NV-112.

No, I pulled the newpaper packing out of the trash and there were the screws and instruction sheet. Thanks! Now I can install my "roll bar"!

| I looked down at the amp the guitar player brought the outher night, and it was a "Music Man" tube amp. I was very surprised to notice that the cut-away on the top for the control knobs was exactly like my Nashville 112. Don't remember anyone complaining about the knobs being broken off on the old "Music Man" amps. The knobs on the old Fender tube amps are pretty exposed also. |

amps had brass or metal pot shafts instead of plastic. |

| Mr. Eaton provides an excellent solution for a problem that should never be. The N112 in itself is a fine amp, but I have 3 bent knobs and I'm too stubborn to buy a knobguard because it aggravates me to spend money on a band aid for a poorly designed cabinet. Also the plastic vent has 3 broken screw holes. It's the little things that makes me sour on this product. It sits there unused and I take my N400 (original 83 model that is mint and has seen 100's of gigs) out to the gigs. |
