That's right, it will be here sooner than you think! The Ozark Steel Guitar Association is planning their big Christmas Party December 11! I hope all those that play steel guitar in our club, and listen, big guy, you, over there that pulls your steel guitar in on wheels, you showed the picture of your group in our last jam. I loved it! I'm expecting to hear you play your steel. And you wonderful, wonderful, ladies, you have never let us down yet, in bringing those scruptious dishes. You're right, I can't talk very long without talking about my stomach. Some of you reading this post are thinking, "will I or won't I, go to the steel guitar party there in Branson. I don't like to push anybody around, in fact, I know better. All you guys are a whole lot bigger than I am, so I'll just ask you with the biggest smile possible, Very Happy "Please, please, please be with us, December 11 at the Community Center in Branson for our annual Christmas Party. Hey, Jim, love ya buddy!!

Think of it!!!!! In less than a month it will be the Christmas Party and Jam! My taste buds are beginning to activate for the turkey and ham and all the wonderful side dishes and desserts that all of you members are bringing! I've been thinking about Jim Keilblock's wonderful invention of putting wheels on his steel guitar. Think about it guys! He doesn't have to tear it down or set it up or put it in a case; he just wheels it in and is ready to play! I envy him every time I see him bring it in! And he does a good job playing it, too! I hope he brings it to the Party so we can see how he's got it installed.

I'm ready to hear each of the steel players play and the singers sing and the band back them up! It's gonna be a FUUUUNNN time!!! And just think, all this fun, "fooood" and fellowship for a donation, if you can, and if you can't give a donation, we want YOU anyway!! That's December 11 - see you there!!!!

Sorry I can't make it, Lisa and I are going out to Vegas for our third anniversary to the National Finals Rodeo. Dogonit it's always the same weekend as the NFR and we just can't do both. But we might see Tyler Hall because Joe Nichols is opening the rodeo on the 10th. We'll miss seeing everyone and all the great food and music but maybe the next jam. Y'all play one for me Thanks Ted Emmons
