That is really pretty steel Dave.
I remember seeing one of these underneath too and it's a masterpiece on the underside too.

Thank you Dave. One from the underside. I only get 1 or 2 cents deflection on strings 5 & 6.

Such a fun thread and it's still goin'! Here's me playin' my 'Bud Pro II custom I ordered back in '77. I think she was about 8 years old here.(Sorry 'bout the small pic size. It's the only pic I have on this computer.)

And here's the Morrell I bought last year and made a removable fretboard for. I just didn't like that black angled board so had to get creative.

My GFI Ultra (07')
It's been modified with automotive striping, prismatic decals, and a few other goodies. The knee levers are powder-coated with a semi-chrome.
The faux end-plates are 1/8" polished aluminum, and wrap around the corners to give the guitar a more traditional look from the front.
