Now that Steelradio is closing, are there any other internet radio stations that play good country with steel guitar?

I was wondering the same thing, and I've found a truly awesome sight. Some of the stations require a subscription ($40.00 every six months, or a couple of other plans) but I've found the sheer content quite amazing, that is, if you're specifically into the country. You need to go to the country genre, and then the "honky tonk" and from there you can find many great classic and current country and honky tonk stations.

So far, my two favorites are the "Country Shufflemania" and "MY TEXAS COUNTRY". Both of these easily rival Willie's Place that was on Sirius-XM, plus the last one routinely plays Bobbe Seymour and Mike Headrick.

I don't know about our American counter parts; however, those who have a satellite or cable TV feed get a audio station called Classic Country that is carried and produced through the Canadian Broadcast Corp.

I would imagine that those in the US who have a Satellite or Cable TV feed will probably be able to get these classic country channels. The music is country music that goes as far back as the mid forties. Some if it is really original Hillbilly but it is a great listen.

It's very sad news about Steel Radio going off the air. However, if you want to listen to steel guitar music you are welcome to listen on TSGN anytme of day or night.
