Blonde Sho Bud Professional..staying local...plz close

Post by Jamie Stoner »

I hate to sell it...but have no choice. Blonde Sho Bud Professional, underside completely redone by James Morehead before I bought it. Cabinet has been beautifully refinished. This guitar looks, plays, and sounds as good as new!!!!

I'm unfamiliar with the "barrels behind two hole pullers" system. Is there a good thread that explains how to tune the guitar? I did a search, but didn't find anything more than people saying how much they liked it. I'll keep searching...

Beautiful guitar, for sure!
Thanks,
Rob.

Rob, If you can tune nylon tuner system, you can tune barrels. This is a rack & barrel guitar, the predecessor to the barrels behind two-hole pullers system. Both great changers!! Just use an allen wrench at the changer end instead of the 3/16" wrench for nylon tuners.

Rob, You can put a raise and or lower on any rod, any pedal/knee lever--- just put a barrel there for what pedal or knee lever you wish to put that "pull" on. I'll post the copedant I played on that guitar when I had it.

Beautiful. Wish I had the $$$ Can't believe this is still for sale.

For Jame Morehead: In your tuning pics, you have both right knee levers posted as having changes on the C6th neck. The pics of the undercarriage only show 1 rack on RKR for the E9th neck. Is the one for the C6th removed? The Professional I had only had the E9th rack on RKR as well. I think that was standard on the Professional.

When I sold the guitar, It had those changes, Richard. It's easy to put them on. Some one has removed them. I suspect Jamie did not take delivery of the guitar with the changes I had on it. :)

Jamie I have a dumb question. How much pressure is required to depress the pedals. I have a medical problem that causes my feet to be a little weak. I have spent the last 4 years learning non-pedal and want to jump off the deep end and learn psg. I have someone here who can teach me if I am able to operate the pedals. Thanks

I think it is one of the easiest to depress that I've ever had. I don't know if that is because james worked his magic on it or why. This guitar is very comfortable to be behind.....
