I'm glad none of the forum members were around to hear me play on Saturday night. I'm never very good, but I played exceptionally bad on Saturday. I'm so glad there was not any youtube to leak out. For that, I am thankful.

Rick, I'd rather hear you play badly than to hear me play good!

Roger,

I bet you wouldn't say that under oath? Laughing Hearing you play "I'll Sign The Papers" is as good as it gets to me. Seriously guys, Roger has such clean and tasteful version of this great 4/4 shuffle. It's the kind of music that attracted me to steel guitar.

Hey Rick!
It ain't ever the steel players playin bad, its them lead singers that pick the wrong songs! Razz

Ya know, when i have those nights, days, months, years, i just say I'm getting old! Laughing

Come to think of it, i am getting old!

Last time i played a tune bad the lead singer said, "Man you really missed that one" and i said, "Its the best ya get for the $50 you are paying me"!

Don't be hard on yourself man, just have fun! Very Happy
all the best man.....km
