Erv-Will do for sure. Good to have you back again.
Well, after the infamous ISGS in St Louis this weekend, we are ramping up our final prep for the NEISGS this year. Randy Weideman and the new Russler steel guitar will be there displaying and also planning on playing a set! Had a great conversation with Mike and Teresa Sweeney and they are looking forward to our show this year. What a picker!!!! Dewitt "Scotty" Scott and Miss Mary will also be with us after celebrating their 40 years of ISGS this year. It will be full of great pickers and friendship. Make plans to come and see us./

The line up is getting close to being complete and will post here for reference when done. Lots of great midwest players along with Mike Sweeney and Scotty, and a whole bunch of new vendors. We are gearing up for our 20th year NEXT YEAR also....

Hey Kirk, it was great to see you in St. Louis. You're right, Mike and I can't wait to come to Waterloo! We always have such a great time there! The show is wonderful and we've made so many friends that it's more like a vacation for us. We're just counting the days!

Only 3 weeks to go and it'll be show time -- and it's gonna be a great time! Mike Sweeney is going to 'smoke' those 10 or 20 strings on his Zum. Scotty playing his frypan will be initiating some new tunes you're gonna love. Plus, we'll hear great pickin' from our Midwest artists.

To bring ya'll up to speed on the Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show this year, we are dedicating this year's show in it's entirety to the memory of our wonderful friend, Barb Schrage who passed away earlier this year. Barb, along with husband Lefty were among the original founders of this outstanding show that continues to live on and on. As her memory does for us, this show creates a great deal of awesome memories and friendships that are priceless. We miss you Barb, but we also have you in our hearts forever.

I will not be able to make it this year due to some circumstances that have recently come up. I really wanted to be there to see all my friends and then go visit my family in MN, but just can't swing it this time.

I know it is going to be a great show with Mike Sweeney, Scotty, Lefty, Mark, Roger, and all the other players. Wish I could be there. It's gonna be good!
