I have just bought a Mullen and an MCI D10 guitars today. Both are in excellent cosmetic condition. I would like to get replacement springs for the changers on the MCI (see attached). Is there a source for MCI parts these days?

They look similar to what are on Carter guitars. Perhaps Al Briscoe in Canada could help you.

The MCI looks very close to the MSA. Perhaps these would work.

The pictures show zinc plated adjusting screws but those have been replaced with stainless steel screws.
Spring length is 1.55"(39.4mm) from the inside of the loop to the end of the spring.

Thanks guys - much appreciated.
Michael
Your option looks good - just as long as the mounting holes to attach your bracket to the body line up.
Will be in touch by email. _________________ Show Pro D10 - amber (8+6), MSA D10 Legend XL Signature - redburst (9+6), Sho-Bud Pro 111 Custom (8+6), Emmons black Push-Pull D10 (8+5), Zum D10 (8x8), Hudson pedal resonator. Telonics TCA-500, Webb 614-E, |

I believe Jim Flynn of Lone Star Steels has MCI parts.
You can locate him here on the Forum.

I believe most of the parts on the MCI are the same as Carter parts. I have a recently acquired EMCI. |

Roy Thomas of Pedalmaster guitars in Louisiana use to have MCI parts. Don't know if he still does ornot. _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

Paul I think you will find the crossrods are different - they have an adjustable bolt on the end of them which fits into a recess in the back apron .. a little different from the Carters ..
I did put a couple of Carter vertical knees on my MCI though ! did the job. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

My MCI levers are pitiful. Could I use Carter (just the levers) not the mounting. Thank you _________________ LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GEORGIA |
