The few cd's that we have put out this past year are actually about ten years work in only two years.......I would like to not have to worry about trying to sell these cd's after the first of the year. Too time consuming and I am too old to worry about making any money. The memories of those few years are unbelievable for me. Hanging that one night with those 13 legendary musicians in Dallas, Texas during the concert that we recorded the Cavalcade Of Guitars. Having breakfast with and hanging around with all of those monster musicians the following morning. Getting into a heated discussion with the great Les Paul concerning record royalties as he informed me that morning that he wanted a percentage and not just the amount that he had agreed upon before the concert. Talking to Pearl Bailey on the phone...Pearl was married to our drummer, Louis Bellson. Sitting in Slam Stewarts room, just him and I, discussing a possiblity of doing the same thing again but in Nashville, Tenn. That day of the concert, the concert and recording itself and the following morning at the motel are memories to live on for a few years. Stressful? You better believe it but it was worth it all.
All four of the cd's, Jimmy Bryant/Buddy Emmons, Curly Chalker/Julian Tharpe, It's The First Time and the Cavalcade of Guitars will be available until the end of the year or until I run out for just $50.00 including shipping for all four. It's a bit of steel guitar history. Nothing ever done like it before with these pickers and nothing since.
Thanks to all for the support this past year. Thanks for all the feedback. In this business you don't make any money so all the compliments and good comments are about all we get. I'm very proud of the fact that I did concieve and carry out the idea from A to Z and did follow through, 35 years later, with releasing some of the recordings.

All four CDs are great. The Cavalcade of Guitars is phenomenal. One of the best combinations of musicians
to ever play together. Same with It's The First Time.
I also really enjoy the Bryant/Emmons show. It's nice to hear how versatile Jimmy Bryant was on guitar when he gets a chance to stretch out and play. I'd love to hear more. Great job from Dave putting it all together.
