I quit my job in 2000 and got my A&P in 2001 after 9/11. I found work on light aircraft but the $15 per hour didn't work out so after 2 years went back to construction @ $27 per hour. Now there's NO work there. Boy sometimes you just don't win.

A&P Mechs

Light acft A&P work will normally pay less than lg acft. But the jobs I have access to are direct hire with benefits. Lots of work on 737, MD80 and regional acft. Let me know if anyone is interested.
