The output jack on the pre-war bakelite Rickenbachers is recessed and I can't find a socket wrench to tighten the nut. Craftsman sockets are too big to fit in the recess. To tighten the nut, I use a pair of pliers having small flat blades; it will stay tight for a while then get loose.

I found this special socket wrench on line and it might work. Does anybody have any experience with this or any other solution?

I just modified a socket on the belt sander, to make the wall thinner. It works OK....
