Why are mouse clicks audible through speakers?

Hey Wiz,

For about a month now, any time I click on any link I hear the click through the speakers on my desktop.

Desktop has WINDOWS XP SP3 and INTERNET EXPLORER 8.

Probabaly an easy fix for you, but has me puzzled.

Same here but not a problem..I keep my sound quite low anyway..I think it's in ex 8...

Go to Control Panel, find Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on the Sounds tab, and you can choose which sounds you would like to hear, or not hear.

I now have IE 9.0, on my Windows 7 PC. There is no more click sound when links are activated.
