Yes, the guitar has awesome tone. It's the neatest looking guitar I think I've ever scene.
The artist was name Jarrett. Zumsteg told me he had heard of the guy and evidently he had painted several steels for Emmons on the 80's.

Jarrett was from Greensboro NC and made many custon guitars for Jeff Cook with Alabama. There were only 2 or 3 body's painted for Emmons Co.
