I think there are to many Steel Guitar builders. Were in the world are they going to sell them all. My Emmons Ashley LaGrande III is 6 years old and I hope it will last another 29 years as I will be 104 then and maybe still trying to play the foolish thing.

Don, you never know, money is the only thing holding me back
Hello Hook... Hey just a quick response to your concern about money holding you back. Look at how our Government views money... Hell you should be able to buy 3 or 4 of em.

Well, four more days and heading north-west to the Gateway to the west. It's going to be a big week-end for me for many reasons and this guitar is certainly one of them. Speaking of, Randy just e-mailed pictures of his latest, a blue lacquer that's just georgeous, already sold but the buyer is letting us take it to St Louis to the showcase before he takes delivery . I hope Randy will post a picture.
Tony asked about prices; if you live in W.Va. or Nebraska the guitar is free, if you live in a state that borders these two states the guitar is half price, all other states the price is doubled.
BTW, in St Louis this year I'm thinking about about giving up playing and doing comedy on my set.
Serially the prices are about the same as most of the other guitars, 35ish for the singles, 5ish for the doubles.
Hope ya'll come by the Fulawka Room and give the Russler a try.

RUSS AND RANDY--I'M NOT A STEEL PLAYER AS YOU WELL KNOW, BUT I AM TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY THE PICTURES I AM SEEING OF THESE BEAUTIFUL GUITARS. IF THEY ARE ANYWHERE CLOSE TO WHAT I SEE, THEY ARE GONNA MAKE SOME HEADS TURN AND I FEEL SURE THE SOUND AND TONE WILL BE IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE WORKMANSHIP DISPLAYED HERE. CAN'T WAIT TO PUT MY EYES ON THE REAL THING AND GET TO HANG OUT WITH BOTH OF YOU IN ST. LOUIS. TRAVEL SAFE!!!!!!! SEE YOU THURSDAY--------

Russ and Randy,
I have to comment on your new Russler steels.
The birdseye maple guitar is to me the most stunning one and really stands out as quality good looking wood that is grown locally. Over and under, these guitars speak of quality workmanship. The polish level is second to none, as is the lacquer finish on the wood.
Your innovations underneath, plus the clever finishing technique, speaks of solid work and eye-catching detail.
Is it any wonder I am green with envy?
I wish you the best of luck with your new venture!
