Thanks to all. I am still working on set up at this point and getting familiar with 11, it's better cause it's one more than 10. I met Al Perkins in Franklin a couple of weeks ago which inspired me to play steel again and he seemed to always have an 11 zb and do things I never heard steel players do. Russ this steel isn't as pretty as the red one but has a cool vibe.

Guess which side I cleaned up last night?
Cleaned, de-greased, lubricated with Tri-flo, reassembled, and playing so smoothly. Now I have to tackle the other half!

Re: d-11 zb
My #0330 is from 1972. Sounds like a good trade, except it's harder to haul a sheet of plywood in a pedal steel.Mason Landrum wrote: Numbers 0315 dont know the year its a d-11 traded 66 ford truck. addicted to playing

Vintage ZB
Found this searching ... Zane built ZB on the east coast: Greg says that it has had the tuners changed and probably two of the KLS were added as well as a newer logo, but you don't see too many come available and still have both necks! The asking price is $950
